Father Leaves Inheritance to Daughter Missing for 30 Years

February 13th, 2008 · No Comments

When he died in January, Edward Jaster was still steadfastly insistent on leaving an inheritance for his daughter, Paulette Jaster, who disappeared in 1979, nearly 30 years ago. In response, family members have stepped up efforts to bring attention to Paulette’s case, in the hopes of locating her long after her disappearance. Two new-age progression sketches, showing what she might look like today, are among the things that family members hope will help restart an investigation into her whereabouts.

Paulette, who would be 54 years old by now, was declared mentally ill in 1977, two years before her disappearance. She has one year to claim her part of an insurance settlement with her late father’s estate.
